چکیده

Introduction/Objective. The aim of our study was to retrospectively analyze data about efficacy and persistence on different anti-TNF? treatment in spondyloarthritis (SpA). Methods. We analyzed SpA patients whose were entered into the Serbian national registry. All divided two groups: non-switcher (patients who treated with one anti-TNF?) switcher group (who has switched from first second third anti-TNF?). Disease activity measured by Ankylosing Spondylitis Score Bath Activity Index functional status Functional Index. Results. identified 290 ? 250 axial (axSpA) 40 peripheral (pSpA). Among axSpA, 192 (76.8%) did not change anti-TNF?, while 58 (23.2%) 14 (5.6%) anti-TNF?. pSpA, 29 (72.5%) 11 (27.5%) three (7.5%) Survival 35.16 28.5 months (switchers 29.41 21.89 vs. non-switchers 36.89 30.04). ?t moment this cross-section 37 (19.3%) still had very high disease activity, only 75 (39%) inactive disease. Conclusions. In real-life clinical practice country, as well others, there is reluctance anti- TNF? switch patients. Administrative limitations reimbursement policy could be main reasons limiting treat target implementation Additionally, specific drug extra-articular manifestations often reason for choosing line medication or switching next one.

The immunogenicity to the first anti-TNF therapy determines the outcome of switching to a second anti-TNF therapy in spondyloarthritis patients

INTRODUCTION Anti-TNF drugs have proven to be effective against spondyloarthritis (SpA), although 30% of patients fail to respond or experience adverse events leading to treatment discontinuation. In rheumatoid arthritis, the presence of anti-drug antibodies (ADA) against the first TNF inhibitor influences the outcome after switching. Our aim was to assess whether the response to a second anti-...
